Your health information stays on your device

Slida stores your health records, doses, labs, and notes in encrypted form on your device. Sovereign Bio LLC does not have access to, store, or sell the health information you keep in Slida.

You choose when to share

When you choose to sync or share information, it is encrypted from sender to recipient. You decide when to share and with whom. Sovereign Bio LLC does not store the health information you share on its servers.

Slida is not a health care provider or medical record system

Slida is software for individuals to manage their own health information. Sovereign Bio LLC is not a clinic, health care provider, health plan, or medical billing service. Slida does not provide medical care, medical advice, or clinical recordkeeping services.

Who this notice covers

This notice describes Slida's product privacy features and the personal information handled through the Sovereign Bio website, Slida marketing page, early-access signup, and related emails at sovereignbio.net. Sovereign Bio LLC decides why and how this information is used. The English-only alpha is limited to adults 18 years of age or older. Do not use the early-access form or support email to send health information.

Information we collect through the website

Optional website analytics

The Slida marketing page offers optional analytics. Analytics stay off unless you choose to allow them. We do not allow analytics to be used for advertising or personalized ads. The early-access signup, confirmation, preferences, and deletion pages do not use analytics or receive your analytics choice.

We save your choice in your browser so the Slida marketing page can remember it. You can reopen Analytics preferences from the page footer and change your choice at any time.

Early-access requests

When you request early access, the form collects only:

• an email address;
• when you agreed to receive early-access updates and the version you agreed to; and
• how you reached the form and basic details used to detect repeated or abusive requests.

The form does not ask for diagnoses, medications, labs, symptoms, provider notes, or free-form medical history. Please do not include health information in an early-access request or support email.

Information needed to deliver and protect the website

When your browser requests a page, the companies that help us deliver and secure the website may receive your internet address, the page requested, the date and time, and basic information about your browser or device. We do not include email addresses or form contents in analytics.

How information is used

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
• Understand how people use the Slida marketing page only after they allow analytics.
• Confirm and manage early-access requests, prevent repeated or abusive requests, honor communication choices, and send the updates people agreed to receive.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect the service and its users.

We do not use early-access form information for advertising or personalized ads. We will update this notice before using or sharing early-access information in a new way.

Service providers

We use service providers to host and secure the website, store early-access information, maintain backups, provide optional analytics, and send early-access email. They may process only the information needed to provide those services for Sovereign Bio LLC.

Retention and control

Your analytics preference remains in your browser until you change it or clear browser storage. If you allow analytics, the analytics provider keeps the resulting information according to the retention period we select in that service.

We keep an active early-access request for up to 12 months. We delete records used only to recognize a repeated request after 24 hours. If you unsubscribe, or if our email provider stops delivery because messages bounce or are marked as spam, we keep only enough information to recognize the address and honor that choice, along with the relevant dates, for up to 24 months. Backup copies are deleted within 14 weeks.

Confirmation links work once and expire after 24 hours. Links for managing email preferences expire after 30 days. Deletion links work once and expire after one hour. You may also contact support@sovereignbio.net; we may need to verify that you control the relevant address.

Your choices

• Decline optional analytics or withdraw analytics consent from the Slida marketing page footer.
• Do not submit the early-access form.
• Use the unsubscribe method in an early-access email when you receive one.
• Contact support with a privacy request.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. Contact us to make a request.

Security and limits

Sovereign Bio LLC uses organizational and technical safeguards intended to protect website information. No method of sending or storing information can be guaranteed completely secure. Sovereign Bio LLC is not a covered entity under HIPAA. We do not claim HIPAA compliance or SOC 2, FDA, clinical, or other certification status.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the website and early-access process change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice.
